COVID 19 Frequently Asked Questions
Do you offer childcare at all services?
Due to COVID 19 restrictions, we are currently not offering childcare services. Children and youth will join their parents in the main sanctuary.
Are you practicing social distancing?
Yes. Seating is separated and 6′ apart. Families that arrive together can sit together in the main sanctuary. We ask that seats not be moved.
Do you require masks to attend services?
Masks are required for all adults and children ages 2+. However, if you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask, a separate seating area has been reserved to maintain social distancing.
Will sanitizing stations be provided?
Yes. Sanitizers will be available throughout the church building.
What time will the building open?
The church building will open at 10:45 a.m. Signed waivers will be required for all adults attending church services.
Are you part of any particular denomination?
New Wave Church is a non denominational church. We believe that Jesus is the Son of God, who died for our sins, and through Him only can you attain salvation.
How can I schedule a counseling session?
Counseling sessions are scheduled through our Pastoral staff. Please call 352.601.0226 for more information.
Who is your lead pastor?
Pastors Nathen and Lisette Puentes have been the lead pastors at New Wave Church for seven years. New Wave Church was originally founded as Anchor of Our Souls ministries by Apostles Fred and Maylen Puentes.
How can my family become involved?
Please visit us on Sundays at 11 am.
How can I get more information on your food pantry?
